SPECIAL PROJECTS

Constance Alexander is community artist in residence at WKMS-FM in Murray, Kentucky, heading up a project on end-of-life issues called Promises to Keep.

Promises to Keep, an interdisciplinary effort with the Department of Nursing at Murray State University, has reached far into the community and the region with an array of public forums and acts activities with end-of-life themes.

Funders for the project include Sound Partners for Community Health, a program of the Benton Foundation, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; and the Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency of the Education, Arts & Humanities Cabinet.
